- Capture the protrusive bite record.
- STL files should be exported in non-zipped format and emailed to hello@schurrbuilt.com.
- Include your notes and ship to address with your digital scan submission.
Pricing & Turnaround
- $30 per complete model set
- $25 per single arch
- 2 business days for iTero, Carestream, Medit, Trios, and Cerec files sent directly
Bite Records
We accept both digital and physical bite records for verification and fabrication:
- Supported systems include George Gauge, ProGauge, Airway Metrics, Therabyte, and similar methods.
- If digital scanning of the protrusive bite is not part of your workflow, a physical bite record may be mailed or scanned for accuracy confirmation.
- Digital bite scans should clearly capture the anterior bite and ensure stitching accuracy by scanning both sides with proper reference points.
- For challenging scans (such as Invisalign trays or gold crowns), applying a Cerec Spray underside of the aligners can improve scan readability.
Clinical Notes
- Always evaluate the patient’s habitual bite and compare it to the construction bite.
- Note any shifts during protrusion (straight or lateral movement) and document them on the prescription.
- The construction bite should provide an inter-incisal and inter-occlusal opening of approximately 4–5mm, ensuring sufficient posterior clearance for acrylic strength and mandibular advancement.
